Made and Crafted S/S14
The theme of this Levi’s Made and Crafted premium collection was surfing. Naturally, the colors we chose for the shoot backdrops were the gradients found in sand, sea and sky. I directed all aspects of the shoot once more: set production, model selection, hair and makeup and on-body styling. Photos from the shoot were utilized by the New York based surf magazine, Wax, which collaborated to feature the new LMC collection. Background: I was the lead designer and art director for Levi’s Made & Crafted, a premium clothing line of Levi’s. I helped create a visual language for the brand, and art-directed and styled the photo shoots. This sub-brand aspired to be featured in top-notch fashion and art publications, and our photo shoots were appropriately stylized and expressive. From choosing models to developing a look for laydowns, I was the proud sculptor of this brand’s identity.
